The Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design has produced two films, which I consider a ‘must-see’, both by students we know, and work with, here at 282Productions:
The first, ‘Sight‘, is a film describing a rather disturbing future of augmented-reality & gamification by using a technology similar to Google’s Project Glass. The similarity to Project Glass and ‘Black Mirror‘ propelled this movie into numerous media mentions:
The 2nd video, an animated short called ‘Glued‘, tells the story of a mother and her young child who is a video-game addict. Beside the fact that it looks great, the sheer amount of video-game references make it a must watch to anyone that consider himself to be a ‘gamer’.
Alon Tako, one of the makers of this film and a good friend of mine, has a own personal blog, where he shares his views on gaming and some of his 3D art work, be sure to check that out as well.
Stay tuned for more news,
